Concept vision for the Canal Promenade is part of a larger masterplan for the Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, inclusive of the Marina and two pedestrian bridges.

The highest priority is to create a destination with outdoor living space stretching along the broadwalk between the Marina and pedestrian bridges.

The design was inspired by work of Venetian painter Canaletto depicting life on the canals of Venice.
